For this "lick of the week" we have neoclassical sounding alternate picking and string skipping exercises. Check it out.

You can think of this as if it was made of two parts. First part string skipping and the second part alternate picking, although you alter the picking direction all the time.

I used C# minor scale ( C# - D# - E - F# - G# - A - B )

The techniques used are:

• String Skipping
• Alternate Picking

This lick helps you develop your right – left hand coordination and improves the precise movement of your pinky.
